These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the ProtoHax website, software, and related services (collectively, the "Service") provided by ProtoHax ("we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account, downloading the software, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
2. Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate information when registering and to keep it up to date. We may suspend or terminate accounts that we reasonably believe have been used in violation of these Terms.
3. License
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the ProtoHax software for personal, non-commercial purposes on devices you own or control, up to the device limit associated with your subscription.
You may not:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software, except where this restriction is prohibited by law.
- Redistribute, resell, sublicense, rent, or lease the software or your access to the Service.
- Remove or alter any proprietary notices, branding, or license information.
- Use the Service to develop a competing product.
4. Subscriptions & Payments
Certain features of the Service are available only with a paid subscription. By purchasing a subscription, you authorize us (or our payment processors) to charge the applicable fees. Subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated otherwise.
Subscriptions may be activated on up to the number of devices stated at the time of purchase. To prevent abuse, newly added devices may be locked from removal for a limited cooldown period.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation.
- Share, lend, or transfer your account or subscription to another person.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service, other accounts, or related systems.
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
- Use automated systems to abuse rate limits, scrape data, or generate fraudulent activity.
6. Third-Party Games & Services
ProtoHax is an independent project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Mojang AB, Microsoft, or the makers of any game it interacts with. You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of ProtoHax complies with the terms of service of any third-party games, platforms, or services you use it with. We are not responsible for any consequences arising from such use, including account bans or restrictions imposed by third parties.
7. Intellectual Property
The Service, including all software, content, branding, and trademarks, is owned by ProtoHax or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable laws. Except for the limited license granted in these Terms, no rights are transferred to you.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or if continued provision of the Service to you would create legal or operational risk. You may stop using the Service and cancel your subscription at any time.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service immediately ceases. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and dispute resolution) will continue to apply.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL PROTOHAX, ITS AFFILIATES, OR ITS LICENSORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ProtoHax and its affiliates from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.
12. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which ProtoHax operates, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may modify these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
